Ute von Buch studied political sciences. After an internship with a specialist magazine, she worked as a self-employed journalist offering PR for companies and wrote articles for different specialist magazines. In 1996 she founded, together with her husband Dietrich, the special interest magazine creativ verpacken in Germany. With the concept of creativ verpacken a new magazine approach was developed: the magazine is consistently focusing on “packaging as a marketing tool”. The range stretches from the consumer as a shopper of packaged products to special covers, which let the market players experience the most recent technologies and sensorial perceptions. Ute moderates events, enhances conferences by presenting her view of the market and accompanies contests as a jury member.
