During the Millennium decade, at the request of Mr Bernard Arnault - recent owner of Sephora - the LVMH brands: DIOR, GALLIANO , KEN ZO, DOM PERIGNON , GUERLAIN , GIVENCH Y and EBEL , all worked closely with Chafik who challenged their respective creative and strategic approaches.
Between 2007 and 2009, Chafik took over the Artistic Direction of BACCARAT , where he refined his vision of the use of light and developed BACCARAT projects with a dreamlike quality and interplay between vision and illusion. He created the first BACCARAT hotel concept for the Hotel du Louvre in Paris.
2011 also marked the beginning of Chafik’s collaboration with Lancôme as Global Retail Design Creative Director.
In 2016, Chafik receives the Janus of Design price & Cosmetic Oscar for the store concept offering a new customer experience. Lancôme entrusts him the make up lines packaging redesign. AKSAL , the largest Moroccan distribution group, asks Chafik to create and develop an innovative store concept. The first 3500 square meters store will open on spring 2017 in Casablanca.
In 2017, Chafik receives the Innovation Talent awarded by the Center of Luxury and Creation for his entire work.
